Our Story

Who We Are?

The Guided Path Foundation is a 501C3 private not-for-profit that works primarily with those in need in Tampa-Hillsborough County Florida. We provide access to Healthcare Services, Support Services, and Educational Opportunities with the intention of improving the health outcomes within this population.

An advocate against and survivor of domestic abuse and homelessness, Marisol Sanchez, founder and CEO of Guided Path, originally founded the organization in 2009. The following year, Marisol put the establishment on hold while she completed her Paralegal studies. Relaunched in 2018, Guided Path has provided hot meals, clothing, and Medicaid assistance to residents and community members of the Hillsborough-Tampa County. She hopes to use her life experiences and passion to empower and guide others who have suffered similar experiences in improving their lives and outcomes.

Our Marketing Strategies

Organization Summary

"Guided Path Foundation exists to inspire, educate and empower individuals to find the path to sustainable independence by creating a diverse safe haven that provides resources to those in need within our community. Through our guidance individuals may begin their journey on the path back to health, independence, and restoration."

Objectives

Focus on those in need within Tampa Bay. Continue to expand and provide multiple resources to those in need. To become a center that can provide care for every aspect of life to be a 'one stop location’ for those in need.

The Problem

There are several individuals that are in need daily for basic resources: food, shelter, clothing, etc. There are more in need than those currently seeking to provide care. Additionally, those in need are scattered throughout Tampa Bay, unable to connect with care.

Our Solution

Provide a multi-resource center with outreach programs. Guided Path Foundation is typically the last resort for several individuals.

Competitive Advantage

Being a privately funded multi-resource center allows us to serve more individuals with greater attention to the individual.

Target Audience

Individuals that have been turned away from other ogranizations or that are unable to find other options. Anyone within Tampa Bay that is unable to provide the basic needs for themselves or their family.

Market Strategy

Connect with providers to help expand our mission. Creating a multi-resource center to provide full care to those in need.

Resources Needed

Funding for administrative staff, land for developing multi-resource center, storage to house resources, and a steady connection to volunteers to consistently serve those in need.
