FAQ

Help with Our Food Distribution Program at
Guided Path Foundation in Tampa

Food is a human right, and we need your help to keep our stock of food to help those in need within Tampa Bay. We work with various programs, including USDA Food Distribution programs, to give meals to individuals.

While there are a few items we turn down, there are certain things you should avoid donating, including spoiled food, perishable items, unpackaged items, sugary foods, sticky or hard foods, worn-out items, dirty items, canned goods without a pop-top, or sharp objects.

The USDA Food Distribution is designed to provide nutritional food to low-income families, children, the elderly, and emergency food distribution.

The USDA runs several food distribution programs, including the Food Aide Program, the National Processing Pilot Program, the Emergency Food Assistance Program, and USDA Food Processing.
