An advocate against and survivor of domestic abuse and homelessness, Marisol Sanchez, founder and CEO of Guided Path, originally founded the organization in 2009. The following year, Marisol put the establishment on hold while she completed her Paralegal studies. Relaunched in 2018, Guided Path has provided hot meals, clothing, and Medicaid assistance to residents and community members of the Hillsborough-Tampa County. She hopes to use her life experiences and passion to empower and guide others who have suffered similar experiences in improving their lives and outcomes.
The Guided Path Foundation is a 501C3 private not-for-profit that works primarily with those in need in Tampa-Hillsborough County Florida. We provide access to Healthcare Services, Support Services, and Educational Opportunities with the intention of improving the health outcomes within this population.
Guided Path mission is to help individuals find a path to sustainable self-sufficiency by creating a multi-function service safe haven that provides our community path to begin their journey back to healthy and independence.
Identify each individual's respective physical, mental, social, and, or economic needs and develop a service plan according to their specific needs and pave the road to end homeless.
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Marisol who is of Puerto Rican descent worked for 25 years in healthcare as a Social worker, 10 years at Tampa General, and is also a paralegal, certified notary, and certified HIV counselor. Born and raised in Clearwater Florida. A college degree at FSU. After college worked in the Florida Senate as an Aide to two different Senators and then moved into the Florida Governor’s office as an Assistant Consumer Protection Advisor. From there I moved into the private sector as a Northwestern Mutual Insurance agent in St Petersburg and then carried those licenses to Dean Witter Investment firm in Clearwater as an Investment Broker. Moved to Dallas, Texas as Asst GM for Pool Depot overseeing swimming pool sales from Texas to California. Moved back to the Tampa Bay area and bought the International Trade Exchange (ITEX) franchise for Tampa Bay in 2002 which I still proudly own now 20 years later. We facilitate trade purchase exchanges between hundreds of business owner clients in the Tampa Bay area.
Johnnie Moultrie Jr. Born and raised in Chicago, 1955. Armed Services (Army) 1972-1975). Received his A.A. Jackson Community College, Jackson, Michigan 1984. B.A. Psychology, Spring Arbor University, Spring Arbor, Michigan 1991. Married to Helen Knickerbocker 2013 (Now Deceased November 2019). Member of Citizens for Prison Reform 2013, served on the board and attended hearings at Michigan Capitol as well as presenting and talking about information with politicians. Current MD 35I Zone 3 Chairperson and 1VP of the Zephyrhills Lions Club. Certified Braillist with the Library of Congress. Member of the Moose Lodge 2276.Lifetime member of the National Braille Association and Member of the National Federation for the Blind. CEO/President of Impact Braille. Now dedicated to Community Service.
Served as Executive Chef in the US Gaming Industry for the past 20 years at various locations across the country. Prior to relocating to the US, he worked with Four Seasons and Kempinski hotel groups in Canada. Chef Tash has been the recipient of many Academic and Industry awards over the years including a President’s Award, Chef of the Year Award, Gold Medal at the World Culinary Arts Festival, MacEachran Humanities Scholarship, and Sophia Gample Memorial Prize for Literature. Post-Secondary education includes degrees in Culinary Arts, BA Philosophy, and LL.B
